Roberto Harari (26/6/1943 - 30/6/2009), psychoanalyst since 1965 in Buenos Aires (Honor Diploma in Psychology, UBA) and Ph D in Psychology (highest score, USAL, 1987).

Founder Member (1977) and ex President of Mayéutica-Institución Psicoanalítica where he headed a Seminar since 1981 and was Analyst Member (MA).

He has delivered lectures, courses and seminars and participated in Congresses, Journals, Colloquiums, Encounters, Symposiums, roundtables, panels and books presentations realized by psychoanalytic institutions, universities and authors in the following cities: Buenos Aires, La Plata, Mar del Plata, Rosario, San Luis, Cordoba, Tucuman, Porto Alegre, Florianopolis, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Gramado, Bahia, Recife, Fortaleza, Montevideo, Punta del Este, Asuncion, Caracas, Santiago de Chile, New York, Boston, Stockbridge, San Francisco, Berkeley, Boca Raton, Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Marsella, La Ciotat, Aix-en-Provence, Cerisy-la-Salle, London, Mexico D.F., Dublin, Milan, Melbourne, Sydney and Chengdu.

He has published two hundred and eighty articles in the main specialized magazines, newspapers and websites of Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, United States, Spain, England, Australia and France.

He was part of the Scientific Committee of the following French magazines: La clinique lacanienne, Figures de la Psychanalyse, Analyse Freudienne Presse, Cliniques mediterranéennes and Langage et inconscient.

Author of 24 books – 22 published – many of which were translated to French, English and Portuguese. As author, he achieved the following distinctions: Sash of Honor in the Essay genre granted by Sociedad Argentina de Escritores, Unique Award to Unpublished Essay by Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, and Second National Award of Philosophy and Psychology, granted by Secretaría de Cultura de la República Argentina.

Co-author of 34 published books in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese.

He participated as founder in the following international multi-institutional movements: Lacanamerican Meeting of Psychoanalysis (founded in 1985) and Convergence, Lacanian Movement for Freudian Psychoanalysis (founded in 1998).
